We’re back! With a whole new coat of paint! Hosting this episode is our good friend Taylor and new guest, Connor. We chat about all the news that came out these past few weeks with a few tangents of nostalgia thrown in from Chrono Cross all the way to Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Then we tackle our topic, “Are games that end up shorter than expected deserve the hate they receive.” We have some pretty interesting discussions about that. Enjoy!

What, what, what? Did someone say the magic word “Atelier series?” I’ll try to play it cool and not geek out too much, but if you want a nice, gentle entry to the series go find a copy of Atelier Iris 1 and 2 for the PS2. They’re more traditional JRPGs than the other Atelier games, so a nice entry point. There’s also a really, really good semi-maybe-possibly-related series called Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis which is kind of like Atelier Iris meets Harry Potter.
Taylor is the only one who has played that series. I’ve watched him play a lot of it. It does look a lot of fun. I’ve also heard of Mana Khemia and to be honest I think I have it on the PS2…. nope that was Atelier Iris. We have a huge backlog that we need to get through. Hoping we can this year >_<
