It’s been a weird week, friends. Taylor had a birthday and a massive synchronicity with this week’s story! John’s been swamped with work and had his mixer die on him (think 5th Doctor console explosions)! Despite all that, we review THE MASQUE OF MANDRAGORA! The Doctor and Sarah Jane accidentally take an ancient entity to 15th century Italy where it quickly gets involved with an underground cult that worships Demnos. Will the Mandragora Helix use its Palpatine-like energy to halt the progress of humanity, keeping it trapped in the Dark Ages? Or will the Doctor and his super rad lion mask ultimately save the day?!
